  • 1 cup of water (250 ml).
  • 1 piece of ginseng root.

Preparation

  • First, take the ginseng, clean it well and cut it into slices. Put it in the cup where you will drink the tea.
  • Add boiling water and let it sit for 5 minutes. If desired, sweeten with honey.
  • It is recommended to drink a maximum of 2 cups per day.

3. Flaxseed fruit juices

  • First, take a glass of water and add the three tablespoons of powdered flaxseed. You can substitute linseed in seeds if you prefer.
  • Leave it to stand in the water overnight and, the next morning, prepare the juice of your choice and mix it with this water.
  • Remember not to sweeten it, or use a diabetic sweetener.

4. Infusion of mango leaves

Mango leaves stimulate insulin production, therefore, lower blood glucose. Thus, it is considered that they have medicinal properties for conditions such as hypertension, asthma, diabetes and other more common ones, such as diarrhea.

These leaves contain flavonoids, gallic acid, caffeic acid, and vitamins A, B, and C. To enjoy the benefits of these elements,  you should regularly consume the infusion from these leaves.

  • 1 liter of water.
  • 10 sheets of hose.

Preparation

  • Heat the water and, when it boils, add the mango tree leaves and simmer for a few minutes.
  • Turn off the infusion and wait for it to settle.
  • Strain the leaves and then take the medicine.

5. Apple vinegar against blood glucose

In the popular sphere, it is said that apple cider vinegar can help regulate blood glucose levels. However,  there is no scientific evidence about this.

Taking two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar, diluted in a glass of water, would supposedly help regulate blood glucose levels. Although you can buy it in stores, you can also prepare it at home in the following way.

Ingredients

  • 10 ripe organic apples.
  • 2 glasses of water (500 ml).

Preparation

  • First, wash, peel and cut apples.
  • Extract your juice with the help of a blender and process with water.
  • Pour the liquid halfway into a glass or earthenware container that has a wide mouth.
  • Cover the container tightly and keep the liquid to rest for 4 to 5 weeks at a temperature between 18°C ​​and 20°C to allow it to ferment.
  • After this time, pour the liquid into another clean wide-mouth container, cover it with a cloth and let it rest in a warm place for 3 days.
  • Finally, filter the vinegar and store it in a dark bottle so it doesn’t lose its properties. Now you can use it daily.
