How to make?

  • In a large saucepan, place the liter of milk with the sugar and cinnamon.
  • Place over medium heat and mix constantly.
  • Wash the rice with a sieve until the water that comes out is cleaner : that way, we can remove the starch.
  • When the milk starts to boil, add the rice (previously drained).
  • Stir from time to time with a wooden spoon until the rice has absorbed the milk.
  • Let it cook for 50 minutes. The key is to let it cook until the beans are soft, without letting the milk dry completely.
  • When you see that it’s perfect, remove it from the stove and add more cinnamon if you want the milky rice to be sweeter.

You can also add condensed milk when serving, this will give your dessert a delicious taste.
